Hidden Creek Management, Inc. has been in business since 2005 and provides long-term property management for single and multi-family residential and commercial real estate in Watauga and Avery Counties. We also provide leasing services, home watch, and condo association management services. We are located in the heart of Boone to better serve you.
Doug Belden, Owner/ Broker-in-Charge/Realtor
Doug graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor's Degree and obtained his MBA from Appalachian State University in 1991. During that time in graduate school, he and his wife fell in love with the High Country and have been blessed in raising their three childen in this community. After working for Watauga Wood Products for over 12 years as Human Resource Manager, Doug decided to pursue his own business in property management and established Hidden Creek Management, Inc. He then purchased Boone Realty in order to provide both exceptional investment property management and brokerage services.
JoJo Muldoon, Office Manager
Originally from Ireland, JoJo moved to America in 1989. She came to Boone from Charleston SC several years ago with her husband and two daughters, Conor and Alex. With an experienced background in Human Resources/Customer Service primarily with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, JoJo's transition from the Hospitality business to the Real Estate business has been both challenging and rewarding. Her commitment to excellence and professionalism will be the driving force behind the scenes when you contact Boone Realty and Hidden Creek Management to help you with your Real Estate or Rental needs.
Ron Fannon, Broker/Realtor
Ron, known as "Ron the Land Man" Fannon, is a native of the High Country and a graduate of Applachian State University. He has been involved with Boone Realty and has executed land and home sales for over 20 years. Ron is the person sure to provide you the expertise and knowledge needed to help you buy and/or sell property.

After a four year vacation with the Marine Corps, Michael finished his degree at ASU in 1998 and married his wife Michelle. He has been in the real estate business since 2001, where he co-owned a development company in Hickory that flipped foreclosures and built new construction homes. That eventually led to commercial acquisitions and commercial & student property management, which brought him back to the High Country. Michael serves in various roles as Property Manager, Broker and Systems Analyst. Outside the office, Michael can usually be found with Michelle and their three boys, Chase, Bennett and Elijah.
Cherie Moretz, Accounting Manager
Cherie moved to Boone in 1991 to attend Appalachian State University where she earned a BA Degree in Psychology and a MA/CAS in School Psychology. She then worked for Wilkes County School District for 9 years. Cherie lived in the Boone area where she met and married Darren and now has 3 boys, James, John and Jacob. She left the school system to be at home with the boys until she came to work for Hidden Creek Management on a part time basis (taxiing her boys to sporting venues and all sorts of events is her full time occupation). As an invaluable member of our team Cherie manages the financial aspect of the business, although her excellent communication and organizational skills have been utilized in many areas. Her dedication and hard work behind the “scenes” are vital to the efficiency of the business.
James Gragg, Maintenance Manger
James is a native of West Virginia and he says “it’s good to be a Mountaineer!” In 1987 he moved to his Dad’s home place on the “backside” of Grandfather Mountain. His pternal ancestor is William Gragg, Jr. known as “Revolutionary Bill” settled in this area about 1790 after fighting in the American Revolution. As you can tell, James is very proud of his heritage and is in the process of tracing his family history even further back to Scotland. James is married to Kimm and they have two children, who are the eighth generation of his family to reside in the High Country. With the twenty-plus years of homebuilding, remodeling and maintenance experience, he developed a talent and love for carpentry and is known for his beautiful ornate wooden and brass clocks. As for the maintenance business, he says, he is highly allergic to dirty kitchens, bathrooms and mold, but if you keep your rental unit clean, he will fix anything that is broken.
